Which Polish shops we are a fit for

The sklep osiedlowy, the small shop on the estate, is everywhere in Polish towns. It runs on regulars and quick purchases, which is exactly where new snacks and drinks get noticed. Kiosks at stops and stations, petrol station shops, toy shops and online sellers with their own web shop or marketplace account are a good match too.

We only sell to businesses. Whether you trade as a sole proprietor (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) or a company does not matter. What counts is proof of registration and a valid VAT number for EU trade.

Many Polish online sellers use the big marketplaces. With us you get original goods with a proper invoice. Whether a product may be listed on a particular platform is something you need to check yourself, as we have no influence on that.

A range with Polish customers in mind

Spicy snacks are popular with young shoppers across Europe. We carry Samyang Buldak as Carbonara, Creamy Carbonara, Quattro Cheese and Rosé, and Takis as Blue Heat, Fuego and Queso Volcano. For series fans there are the Stranger Things licensed snacks, such as Choco Strawberry, Cookie Cream and Toaster Tarts. For the till, Pipapo Knax and squishies like the Butter Squishy or the Squishy Toy Medium work well.

With no minimum order value, you can try new flavours on a small scale: Takis come 18 bags to a case, Buldak 40 packs and Knax 24 pieces. Still, combine several cases where you can, because shipping to Poland is costed per consignment.

Seasonal tip: on 6 December, Mikołajki, children in Poland receive small presents. Squishies, Christmas squishies and sweets suit the occasion. Order in good time so there is room to settle the shipping route and date.

Registering with NIP, KRS or CEIDG

Use the standard retailer sign-up form. Select Poland as your country and enter your NIP with the PL prefix as VAT ID, i.e. PL plus 10 digits.

For VIES to accept it, your business must be registered as a podatnik VAT-UE, meaning registered for intra-EU transactions. A NIP on its own is not always enough. The form tells you straight away whether the number is valid, or you can check it in advance on the EU's VIES portal.

As proof of business, upload an extract from the KRS (for companies) or a CEIDG printout (for sole traders). Your account is then normally active within 1–2 working days.

No German VAT with a valid VAT number

If your Polish number is valid in VIES, we invoice net, without German VAT. You account for the purchase in Poland as an intra-community acquisition (reverse charge). If the number is invalid or missing, 19% German VAT is added.

Delivery to Poland or collection in Mettmann

Once approved, send us a request by WhatsApp or email: which items, what quantities, which address. We look at the best option, parcel or pallet, and quote cost and transit time. Then you order in the shop. There is no flat shipping rate for Poland.

For retailers who already organise trips to Germany, collection from our Mettmann warehouse is a practical choice, with your own vehicle or a carrier of your choice.

Before reselling: our goods are meant for the EU market and come through official distribution channels; CE paperwork for toys and halal certificates for Buldak are available on request, and special quantity requests are welcome. Even so, check Poland's labelling requirements, for example whether a Polish label is needed. Other countries we serve are shown under wholesale in Europe.
