How close is MDH to Neuss and the Lower Rhine?

We are not on your doorstep, and we would rather say so. Neuss lies on the left bank of the Rhine, opposite Düsseldorf, while our warehouse sits in Mettmann on the far side of that city. Between Neuss, Meerbusch or Dormagen and us, then, lie the river and Düsseldorf. Our registered office is in Duisburg, also on the Lower Rhine, but goods leave from Mettmann.

Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and Viersen are further west still. For retailers in these towns the real question is rarely whether they can buy from us, but which route suits a given order.

Collect or have it delivered: a comparison for shops and kiosks

Collection in Mettmann: free of charge. Choose “Selbstabholung” at checkout and you receive the warehouse details after ordering. This pays off with lots of heavy drinks cartons, or when you are east of Düsseldorf anyway. Allow time for the trip across the Rhine.

DHL parcel: usually 24–48 hours, with shipping costs shown at checkout. For small, regular reorders this tends to be the calmer option, since your shop or packing table stays staffed while the cartons come to you.

Freight or pallet: meant for large quantities, such as a shop launch or stocking several sites at once.

Nothing is fixed: you decide afresh with every order.

What web shops on the Lower Rhine should think about

Not every online seller keeps stock in-house. Logistics is a big topic around Mönchengladbach: the city's economic development agency describes the Regiopark in the south of Mönchengladbach as an important logistics location. If your stock sits with a service provider in the region, we deliver straight there. Just give us the warehouse address and its delivery conditions. We make no blanket promise on labelling or other prep.

In our experience, spicy snacks and striking cans belong up front, for example Takis Blue Heat, Samyang Buldak or Red Bull Glacier Ice Raspberry.

What we suit and what we do not

We suit you if you want to add sought-after trend items to your shop or kiosk: Takis, Samyang Buldak, Stranger Things snacks, Red Bull special editions, LOTTE Milkis and squishies. A single carton is enough for a test, and anyone looking for US items gets a frank overview of American snacks at wholesale.

We do not suit you as the only supplier for a broad grocery web shop. We carry no rice, oil, tinned food, ordinary pasta or fresh goods. A cash & carry or delivery wholesaler is the right type of supplier for those. Combining both is common: the staples there, the trend items from us.

How Lower Rhine retailers get started

Registering as a trade customer takes about 3 minutes, and you upload your business registration or commercial register extract as a file. Usually within 1–2 working days you are approved and can see prices. Orders are placed in full cartons with no lower limit on order value.
