Three markets, similar shops

Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are small, well-connected markets with young, digitally minded shoppers. What appears on social media is quickly in demand there. Typical buyers of our range are kiosks in city centres and at stations, petrol station shops, which in the Baltics often sell snacks and drinks for the road, small grocery stores, toy shops and online stores.

Many retailers in Vilnius, Riga or Tallinn also sell through marketplaces or social media. A trade account is possible for them too, as long as there is a registered business. Orders from consumers are not accepted.

What Baltic retailers start with

A mix of our most requested items makes a good start: Red Bull Glacier Ice Raspberry for the fridge, Takis Blue Heat, Fuego and Queso Volcano for the shelf, and the Butter Squishy, the Squishy Toy Medium and the Spinner Ball for the counter. AMIGO fruit drinks and iced tea in 200 ml packs, Samyang Buldak and LOTTE Milkis add variety. Because transport costs to the Baltics depend on quantity and shipping method, it pays to combine orders rather than requesting small quantities often.

The case size is shown with every item in the shop: Takis come in 18 bags, LOTTE Milkis in 30 cans, Buldak in 40 packs. We do not set a minimum amount per order. Order seasonal goods such as Christmas squishies early, so there is enough time to settle the shipping details.

Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia: VAT ID and proof of business

Lithuania: the VAT ID is called PVM mokėtojo kodas and starts with LT, followed by 9 or 12 digits. An extract from the Register of Legal Entities at Registrų centras works as proof. Sole traders upload comparable proof of their activity.

Latvia: the PVN number consists of LV and 11 digits. Proof of business is an extract from the Register of Enterprises (Uzņēmumu reģistrs).

Estonia: the VAT number (KMKR number) is EE plus 9 digits. You can download an extract from the Estonian Commercial Register (äriregister) online and upload it as a PDF.

In all three countries, the number is checked automatically via VIES in the registration form and must show as valid. Allow 1–2 working days for approval in most cases.

VAT for Baltic businesses

With a valid VAT ID, our invoice contains no German VAT. You acquire the goods as an intra-community purchase and declare the tax in your own country (reverse charge). Where no valid number is given, 19% German VAT is charged.

Transport to the Baltics: agreed per order, not a flat rate

We deliver to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia; because it is a long way from Mettmann to Vilnius, Riga or Tallinn, we plan each delivery individually. Once approved, send us your items, quantities and delivery address by WhatsApp or email. We check whether a parcel will do or a pallet by freight makes more sense, and quote cost and transit time. Then you order.

If you already have a carrier bringing goods from Germany, it can collect from our Mettmann warehouse. Our goods are intended for the EU market and come from official distribution channels; still check which labelling your country requires before selling, such as the local language on the label. Documents such as CE declarations for squishies or halal certificates for Buldak are available on request, and we find a way to handle special quantity wishes. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania each run their own deposit systems; whether German deposit is charged or removed on your canned drinks is clarified per product. More countries: wholesale in Europe.
