How a late-night shop differs from a daytime kiosk

Most sales in a late-night shop happen in the evening and at night. People buy for right now: a cold drink on the way home, something spicy to share, a small extra for a party. Planned weekly shopping is rare.

For your purchasing, that means products that are chilled, eye-catching and ready to eat move fastest. A small shop does not need to stock everything, but it does need the right items in stock at all times. Empty fridge shelves on a Friday night cost you more than a missing niche product.

The fridge: energy editions, Milkis and Ade

For many late-night shops, the fridge is the most important piece of furniture. Small extras for the counter
