Mettmann borders Düsseldorf to the east. From districts such as Hubbelrath, Gerresheim or Unterbach, our warehouse is only a few kilometres away. Shops in Bilk, Flingern or Oberkassel can reach it without a major detour when a supply run is due anyway.
To collect, select “Selbstabholung” (self-collection) at checkout. We do not publish the warehouse address online, so we send you the pickup details once your order is in.
What sells at a Düsseldorf Büdchen
The Büdchen, the Rhineland's name for the corner kiosk, is part of Düsseldorf's daily life. Customers drop by in the evening or at weekends for a cold drink and a small extra. Chilled cans such as Red Bull Glacier Ice Raspberry or Red Bull Iced Vanilla Berry and eye-catching snacks like Takis Blue Heat fit that pattern well.
In neighbourhoods with lots of students and young adults, for example around Heinrich Heine University, products from short videos quickly become a talking point. Younger customers then often ask for the exact flavour they saw online. Our page on TikTok products wholesale lists what is currently in demand.
Asian snacks and drinks for an international crowd
Düsseldorf has a strongly international character, and Asian food shops have long been part of the scene around Immermannstraße. As a result, many shoppers already know brands such as Samyang Buldak or LOTTE Milkis and are pleased to find them at their local kiosk.
MDH stocks Buldak in Carbonara, Creamy Carbonara, Quattro Cheese and Rosé, LOTTE Milkis in four flavours from Original to Melon, and Cantabile Ade as Blueberry, Mango, Strawberry and Watermelon. See the full selection under Asian snacks and drinks wholesale.
Collection or delivery: what works for Düsseldorf shops
If there is no parking outside your city-centre shop, delivery is usually the easier option. A DHL parcel costs €9.99 per order and normally arrives within 24–48 hours. Larger volumes go on a pallet via freight carrier, and we deliver to other EU countries on terms agreed with you.
Driving to Mettmann pays off mainly for heavy orders, such as several cases of drinks, or when you need to top up quickly before a long weekend with events in town.
A mixed approach tends to work well: regular stock by parcel, extra supplies for busy days collected yourself. You can switch between the two with every order.
A trade account for Düsseldorf businesses
MDH supplies businesses only. Registering as a retailer takes about 3 minutes; have a copy of your Gewerbeanmeldung or register extract ready (PDF, JPG or PNG). Accounts are typically approved within 1–2 working days, and from then on every price and volume tier is visible.
Orders have no minimum value, and one case is the smallest unit. For more about our location and the wider region, see wholesale in NRW.
Frequently asked questions
Where is there a kiosk wholesaler in Düsseldorf?
MDH Distribution has its warehouse in Mettmann, right next to Düsseldorf. Registered businesses shop online, then pick up at no charge or receive a DHL parcel, usually within 24–48 hours.
Where can I buy Buldak and Milkis for my shop in Düsseldorf?
From MDH, once you are registered as a trade customer. We carry four Buldak flavours from Samyang and four flavours of LOTTE Milkis, each sold by the full case.
Can I collect my order myself if my shop is in Düsseldorf?
Yes, from the Mettmann warehouse with no shipping charge. Choose “Selbstabholung” when ordering and we will tell you where to go.
Is a wholesale account worth it for a small Büdchen?
Yes. Because MDH has no minimum order value, one case already counts as a complete order, so you can try new products with little risk.
What documents do I need as a kiosk owner in Düsseldorf?
Your business registration (Gewerbeanmeldung) or a commercial register extract. You upload it during online registration.
Do you also supply Neuss, Ratingen or Erkrath?
Yes, by DHL parcel like anywhere in Germany. Ratingen and Erkrath are part of the Mettmann district themselves, so free collection is an easy option from there.
