Crunchy Squishy Wholesale: Crispy, Crunchy and Crackle Squishies

What the crunchy trend is about

A classic squishy is soft and slowly regains its shape. The new generation adds a feeling on the first squeeze: the packaging promises a crackle or crunch, which is shown off in videos. Words like crunchy, crispy and crackle stand for this trend.

For retailers, this matters because customers arrive with a specific wish. They don't ask for “a squishy” but for the cheese, the dino or the chocolate they saw online.

Crispy balls, swirls and crackle puffs

The Crispy Ball comes in a pink display labelled “Crispy Handmade Ball”, with each ball in a clear half shell. Crispy Square and Crispy Swirl are sold in the colourful “Crispy Balls Donut” display. The swirl shows a spiral pattern in blue, pink and yellow, while the squares come in pastel colours in small clear boxes.

Crackle Puffs come in surprise packs marked with a question mark, in a light blue display. The Crackle Puff Mix uses round tubs containing shapes such as a chocolate bar and a donut.

Food shapes and characters

The food shapes stand out most: the Cheese Crunchy Squishy as a yellow cheese cube with a face, the Carrot and the Corn, each with a smiling face in a clear box, and the Soap Crunchy Squishy shaped like a white bar of soap.

The Crunchy Milky Chocolate Squishy with keyring looks like a piece of milk or white chocolate on a key chain. Characters include the white Unicorn, the Ball Crunchy in a black “Space Meteorite Ball” display, and the Dino Crispy Squishy as a blind box: customers only see which dinosaur they got when they open it.

New since late October

Many of the items shown here were added between 21 and 27 October 2026, including Crispy Square, Crispy Swirl, Cheese, Dino, Unicorn, Ball, Carrot, Corn, Soap Crunchy, Crackle Puff Mix and the Crunchy Milky Chocolate squishy. Order now and you will have shapes your customers have probably not seen in other shops yet.

Kiosks near schools should mark new displays clearly as “new”. Children tell each other where to find which shape and come in specifically for it.

Sales tips for crunchy squishies

A mix of two or three displays that look clearly different works well, for example cheese, dino and crispy ball. Your counter looks varied without you buying the whole range at once. Blind box items like the dino encourage collecting.

When a display is empty, try a new shape instead of always reordering the same one. Customers then drop by more often to see what's new. Keep the classic butter squishy in stock all the same. Our squishy wholesale page gives an overview of the full range.
